I’m so happy you’re here, and thank you for wanting to read a little bit about me!
I was born and raised here in Upstate New York. I’m married to the kindest (and sexiest) man, I’m a mommy to two precious babies—one in heaven and one here on earth—and I’m a dog mom times two. Photography is my hobby, but being a mom is my career, my full-time job, my passion, and what I was born to do.
Lately, my days look a lot like chasing after (and being bullied by) my toddler, playing fetch with my dogs, reheating my cup of coffee, and reading whatever new Kindle find I stumble upon.
My Story
I knew when I was a little girl that one day I would be a mom. I had so many baby dolls, I played house all the time with my younger brothers, and as I got older, I constantly imagined the day I’d have my own family. If you asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, my answer was always the same: a mom.
I met my husband in 2018 and began dating him in 2019. I remember telling my mom after meeting him, “He’s the kind of man you marry.” And sure enough, on September 24, 2021, we did just that. I knew God put him in my life for a reason—he is everything I have ever prayed for, and more.
Shortly after our wedding, we found out we were pregnant with a beautiful baby boy. But after 26 weeks of pregnancy, we experienced the unimaginable. I delivered and lost our son, Luca Richard. Leaving the hospital without him left me with an enormous amount of pain. I realized very quickly that I could either let the pain consume me, or I could find a way to let it heal me.
That’s when I began specializing in motherhood photography. I found beauty in the bonds between mothers and their babies, allowing those moments to remind me that my story wasn’t finished. Through capturing these images, I began to heal—little by little.
My Purpose
In February 2024, I was blessed to give birth to our daughter, a beautiful baby girl named Lakely Ray. She has brought me more joy than I could ever imagine and is a constant reminder of God’s love for me and my family.
Through her, I’ve learned to look at life through a new lens—one filled with awe for the little things: the sound of her footsteps running through the house, the smell of rain, freshly brewed coffee, a gentle hug from my husband after a long day. There is so much magic in the everyday moments that often go unnoticed, and I’m learning, every single day, to slow down and truly appreciate the wonder this life brings.
I photograph with heart. I want you to remember the things you might not normally think of—the little details: tiny ears, a small hand wrapped around your finger. I want to capture the feeling, the way you felt in those moments.
If there’s anything I’ve learned, it’s that life is too short. I want you to be able to look back on these photos and not just see the moment, but truly feel it again.
